Twitch reinstates Donald Trump's account following permanent ban in 2021
Twitch has reinstated former President Donald Trump’s account, following a permanent ban in 2021 following the storming of the US Capitol building.
It’s unclear if this was specifically requested by the Trump campaign team. Eurogamer was provided the following statement from a Twitch spokesperson:
“We reinstated former President Trump’s Twitch channel,” it reads. “We believe there is value in hearing from Presidential nominees directly, when possible. Trump is now the official Republican nominee for US president.”

Transformers: Galactic Trials will feature “exciting rogue-lite combat”.
In a departure from the typical Transformer treatment – most of the dozens of Transformer games to have released over the last 20 years or so have been shooters or RPGs – this Transformer adventure will feature 10 racing circuits for Autobots and Decepticons to race against in “both vehicle and bot form”.

Ubisoft’s sparkling new version of the beloved Beyond Good & Evil includes a touching tribute to Emil Morel, the veteran Ubisoft Montpellier developer who sadly died last year aged just 40.
A bouquet of flowers can now be found lying on a bench in Hillys’ centre, with an envelope marked simply by the letter ‘E’.
I’ve checked with Ubisoft to see if this addition is indeed a tribute to Morel from the game’s development team, and been told yes.

Morel served at Rayman and Beyond Good & Evil studio Ubisoft Montreal from 2009, and helped craft the wonderful Rayman Legends as its lead game designer.
More recently, Morel had taken on the role of creative director for Beyond Good & Evil 2 – the long-awaited su…

Sports Interactive has delayed the launch of Football Manager 25 again – this time until 2025.
In a statement this afternoon, the developer said it had agreed with publisher Sega to postpone the game’s launch on all platforms until March next year.
Previously, the footy sim had been set to arrive on 26th November for PC, PS5 and Xbox (and on Nintendo Switch on 3rd December). Before that, it had been expected earlier this year.
“After careful consideration, Sports Interactive have made the tough decision to further delay the release of Football Manager 25,” the developer wrote in a statement released this afternoon. “Following discussions with Sega, our licensors and partners, we have agreed the best course of action is to delay the launch until March 2025. …

PC players are already busy modding Silent Hill 2 Remake, reverting the game to something more akin to the original release.
The series as a whole is known for its persistent fog, but some of the most striking mods on NexusMods are those that remove the fog entirely, turning the game into a completely different experience.
For instance, modder FrancisLouis has created the Silent Hill 2 HD Collection mod, in a cheeky nod to the widely-criticised collection that removed much of the trademark fog.

Read moreGAME pre-order customers left in limbo, as Metaphor and Silent Hill 2 launches loom
A month on from Eurogamer’s previous report, GAME customers say they are still waiting to receive games they paid to pre-order, without the ability to cancel these orders online.
Eurogamer continues to be contacted by customers who handed over money for games due to launch weeks ago that are still waiting to receive their orders.
And now, with the autumn season of big game launches set to kick off properly with Silent Hill 2 and Metaphor ReFantazio, there’s concern that pre-orders for these games will also fail to materialise.
GAME customers tell Eurogamer that questions about outstanding pre-orders – some now more than a month late – are falling on deaf ears, with queries to the brand’s customer support on social media and its website going unanswered.

Read moreAmazon's Fallout series passes impressive viewer milestone after six months
In not quite six months since Fallout first burst its unapologetically bloody way onto our screens, the show has passed an impressive milestone.
As shared on the Fallout social media account, Amazon’s adaptation has now been watched by 100 million viewers worldwide.
To put this figure into more context, Fallout is the only other show on Amazon Prime to cross the 100 million viewer threshold, the other being Rings of Power. The first season of The Rings of Power has, at the time of writing, reached over 150 million viewers worldwide since its debut, but with a much larger production budget.
